Middle School Student in Tears After Meeting and Receiving Blessing from Prabowo

President Prabowo Subianto

Jakarta (The Indonesian News) — President Prabowo Subianto’s visit to State Junior High School 111 in Jakarta left a deep impression on the students. The President’s presence in their school environment became a precious and unforgettable moment for those who had the opportunity to meet and interact with him directly.

Several students said they were moved to have met face-to-face with a figure they had long admired. They not only took photos together but also had the chance to sing and chat with President Prabowo.

One of the most touching moments came from Haura Narasalsabila, a student who could not hold back her tears when her dream of meeting the President finally came true. Haura expressed her joy after being able to shake hands and interact directly with the country’s number one official.

“I feel very, very happy. Especially because I could shake hands with President Prabowo. Because my dream was to meet the President,” she said when approached at her school on Tuesday (June 2, 2026).

Haura admitted that she cried when she met President Prabowo. For her, the experience was a moment that had previously existed only in her imagination.

“I cried because this is the first time I’ve met the President. And I never expected to be able to shake his hand and receive his blessing that my dreams may come true,” she said.

“I am very happy. Because this was one of my dreams to meet the President. I am so happy today, and my heart is full of joy,” she added.

During the occasion, the students not only met and had their photos taken with President Prabowo but also enjoyed casual conversations. One male student said he had the opportunity to discuss soccer with the President.

“I’m happy, especially because I also got to talk directly with Mr. Prabowo about his soccer club [Garudayaksa Football Club],” he said.

Other students also expressed deep impressions. They said they were moved because not everyone has the chance to meet the head of state directly. “I am certainly very happy to have met Mr. Prabowo. I feel touched because not everyone can meet Mr. Prabowo,” one student said.

In addition to expressing their happiness, the students also offered their prayers and hopes for President Prabowo, wishing him continued health and strength in carrying out his duties leading the nation.

“My hope is that Mr. Prabowo’s performance improves even more, gets even better, that he remains healthy always, and has a long life,” another female student said.

“My prayer for Mr. Prabowo is that he has a long life, stays healthy, please don’t overwork yourself, Sir, and that his performance gets even better,” she added.

Meanwhile, another student expressed hope that President Prabowo would continue to lead Indonesia toward becoming an increasingly advanced and prosperous nation. “My hope for Mr. Prabowo is that he remains healthy, has a long life, stays happy, and grows ever better in leading this country,” he said.
