Jakarta (The Indonesian News) – The moment of the Pancasila Sanctity Day commemoration became a special experience for Muhammad Tahfiz bin Al Hamdi, a student of SMK Negeri 2 Cibinong. Tahfiz had the opportunity to perform playing the violin before President Prabowo Subianto at the Pancasila Sanctity Monument, Lubang Buaya, East Jakarta, on Thursday (October 1).
Tahfiz felt happy and grateful to be able to showcase his abilities before the President. For him, this opportunity was a rare thing.
“It certainly feels very happy, because the opportunity to play in front of Mr. President is a very rare thing, yes. So, we rarely encounter it in daily life. So, I feel very grateful and also proud,” Tahfiz said when interviewed.
Tahfiz’s love for music has grown since childhood. Tahfiz began learning musical instruments at the age of 9.
He also expressed that the opportunity to perform at the Pancasila Sanctity Day commemoration was also a momentum to interpret the values of Pancasila. He believes Pancasila is something that unites in diversity.
“In my opinion, Pancasila is togetherness, yes. So, how do we live in peace, tranquility, and respect one another without discriminating,” he said.
As a student who pursues music, Tahfiz hopes that students can obtain support to develop their interests and talents. He hopes that the development of student talent can continue to be facilitated, including for students who have an interest in music.
“I pray that Mr. President Prabowo will always be healthy, always enthusiastic in his work. May Indonesia continue to advance, and may we as students be able to bring honor to the name of the Indonesian nation,” he said.
