Jakarta (The Indonesian News) – President Prabowo Subianto has acted swiftly in resolving various fundamental problems faced by the Indonesian people. Within 1.5 years of his administration, Prabowo has delivered solutions to 108 societal problems.
This is revealed in the book “Presiden Solusi” (The Solution President), which compiles 108 problems along with the solutions presented by the government, ranging from LPG shortages to fertilizer issues.
The book was written by Muhammad Qodari, head of the Government Communications Agency (Bakom), Dirgayuza Setiawan, special assistant to the president for communications and policy analysis and Agung Gumilar Saputra, special assistant to the president for strategic data analysis.
During the book launch in Jakarta on Monday (June 8, 2026), Dirgayuza said the book is not merely a record of Prabowo’s achievements in a short period but also invites readers to understand the ideas, leadership approach, and decision-making methods of Prabowo.
According to him, Prabowo has been able to achieve these results because he believes that policies aimed at improving public welfare should not be delayed. The reason, he continued, is that Prabowo wants the public to immediately feel the benefits of various government policies.
“Our President feels that everything must be delivered as quickly as possible. Because the people cannot wait. The people need to eat today, the people need fertilizer today, the people need convenience today. Schools need to be delivered as quickly as possible,” Dirgayuza said.
He added that Prabowo’s swift actions are not taken without careful calculation. Dirgayuza observed that Prabowo uses the Observe, Orient, Decide, and Act (OODA) Loop framework before making decisions.
The OODA Loop is a decision-making framework commonly used in military settings, where strategic decisions are based on speed, agility, and adaptability. Within this framework, decision-makers typically begin by gathering data, analyzing it, determining the best solution, and then implementing it.
Because he uses this approach, Prabowo is said to closely follow developments and information. When new facts or findings emerge in society, he considers them before making a decision deemed most appropriate.
“So as we work with him, every day we see how he closely follows developments. And he does not end up burying facts that are being covered up,” he added.
According to Dirgayuza, Prabowo’s leadership style has rarely received public attention. Therefore, he, together with Qodari and Agung, decided to capture it in the book “Presiden Solusi.”
Echoing this, Agung also noted that Prabowo is never impulsive in making decisions. Based on his experience, Prabowo always considers a decision carefully, sometimes for as long as three weeks.
“He is already very wise. He thinks everything through before making a decision,” he said.
